9:40 p.m. — Storms exit the D.C. region after spawning multiple warnings
An intense line of storms that came together earlier this evening just west of D.C. and Baltimore, spawning multiple severe thunderstorm warnings and one tornado warning as it tracked east through the Interstate-95 corridor, is now moving into and east of the Chesapeake Bay.
All watches and warnings have been dropped for the D.C. region. It has yet to be confirmed that a tornado touched down in the area of the tornado warning, which was issued for a small region northeast of the Beltway stretching from Laurel to Odenton, Md.
